RIDGEFIELD, CT — Police are investigating a break-in at a Main Street residence near Rockwell Road.
Officers responded to the incident in the early morning hours Thursday.
An unknown individual forced open a rear door to enter the home, according to Captain Brian Durling, public information officer for the Ridgefield Police Department.
The intruder fled on foot southbound on Main Street after realizing the home was occupied.
No violence was used or threatened during the incident.
