PARK RIDGE, NJ — A 75-year-old New York man was arrested Sunday after allegedly making inappropriate sexual contact with a spa worker.

Police responded to a spa on Kinderkamack Road at approximately 11:51 a.m. Jan. 18, 2026, for a report of unwanted sexual contact.

The victim told police a male customer inquired about services and asked if she could be fully nude.

While making the inquiry, the man allegedly placed his hand on the victim’s breast without consent, according to police.

The man was asked to leave the establishment but was reluctant to do so, police said.

He fled after the spa called 911.

Witnesses obtained a New York license plate number and vehicle description, which was broadcast to surrounding jurisdictions.

Officer Carlos Alicea spotted the vehicle heading northbound on Kinderkamack Road at approximately 12:51 p.m.

A motor vehicle stop was conducted in the CVS parking lot.

The driver was identified as David Neuman, 75, of Monsey, New York.

Neuman was arrested and transported to the Park Ridge Police Department.

He was charged with criminal sexual contact, a fourth-degree crime.

Neuman was released pending a court appearance at Bergen County Superior Court on Feb. 2, 2026.
