ST. JOHNSBURY, VT — A St. Johnsbury man was arrested early Wednesday on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop.
Cody Heath-Largy, 30, of St. Johnsbury, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by state police on Railroad Street at approximately 12:43 a.m.
Troopers had observed the vehicle committing a motor vehicle violation and initiated the traffic stop.
During the investigation, police discovered Heath-Largy had an active warrant for his arrest on a charge of cruelty to animals – deprivation – first offense.
Heath-Largy was taken into custody and transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
He was later brought to Northeast Correctional Complex where he was held on $200 bail.
Heath-Largy was issued a citation ordering him to appear before the Caledonia Superior Court – Criminal Division on Jan. 15 at 12:30 p.m.
