Two Tents is set in a campground in the summer of 2015. Melanie and her husband Jim discover that the man in the adjacent site is Melanie’s long-ago ex, Dale, camping with his much younger girlfriend Nancy. When it’s revealed that Dale is not there entirely by accident, secrets from the past threaten to blow up both relationships. It’s a comedy about the dangers and allure of midlife nostalgia, relationships, and the great outdoors.

The roles are for one female and two male actors in their mid-forties and one female actor in her mid-twenties/early thirties. All four roles are considered substantial and require good physical mobility.

Rehearsals begin mid-March with two evening rehearsals and some weekends, more in the final two weeks. Performance dates are June 5–7 and 12–13, 2026 at the Haskell Opera House.
