JAMESTOWN, NY — A man was arrested on an active felony warrant Dec. 28 after police responded to a report of an unwanted person at a downtown address.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department arrived at the scene at approximately 6:33 p.m.
Alexander E. Schultz, 33, of Jamestown, was taken into custody without incident after officers determined he had an active felony arrest warrant issued by Jamestown City Court.
During a search incident to arrest, officers found a one-hundred-dollar check that did not belong to Schultz.
Schultz was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree in addition to the active felony warrant.
He is being held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
