DUNELLEN, NJ — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man suspected of stealing a wallet from an unlocked vehicle on Dec. 25.
The wallet was taken from a vehicle on Jackson Avenue, according to the Dunellen Police Department.
A short time later, the man allegedly attempted to use a credit card from the wallet to make a purchase at Tropical Supermarket.
When the card was declined, he used cash from the wallet instead, police said.
