Man cited on threatening charges in Lamoille County

LAMOILLE COUNTY, VT — A St. Albans man has been cited on charges of criminal threatening and disturbing the peace by electronic communications.

Vermont State Police troopers from the Williston Barracks began investigating a report of threatening by phone on Nov. 18 at approximately 6:32 p.m.

Investigators determined that Alan Vincelette III, 22, of St. Albans, had threatened to inflict serious bodily harm or death upon a juvenile via Snapchat.

The victim is a juvenile from Lamoille County.

Vincelette was issued a citation on Dec. 22 to appear in Lamoille County Superior Court on Jan. 28, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charges.
