LYNDONVILLE, VT — A 45-year-old man has been cited on a simple assault charge following a neighbor dispute.
Jackson Mitchell III, of Lyndon, was cited into Caledonia Superior Court after Lyndonville police received a report on Dec. 11 at 2:47 p.m.
The alleged assault occurred on Dec. 10 on Sandy Lane.
The victim was identified as Michael Labounty, 47, of Lyndon.
Mitchell is scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 9, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
