Man arrested on warrants in Lyndonville

LYNDONVILLE, VT — A Lyndonville Police Department patrol officer arrested a man on two outstanding warrants Dec. 20.

The officer observed a suspicious vehicle associated with a wanted subject on Severence Hill Road at 1:22 p.m.

The officer stopped the vehicle near Red Village Road.

The passenger in the vehicle, Eli Farrington, 51, of Wheelock, was arrested on the warrants.

The first warrant was issued by the Vermont Parole Board for a parole violation with nationwide extradition.

The underlying charges include resisting arrest, grand larceny, burglary, sale of fentanyl and false information to police.

Department of Corrections records show Farrington’s maximum release date is Aug. 30, 2035.

The second warrant was issued by Caledonia Superior Court for failure to appear.

The underlying charge is driving after criminal suspension.

Bail was set at $200.

Farrington was returned to Department of Corrections custody at Northeast Regional Correctional Facility.
