BATH, NY — A woman was arrested Friday after allegedly making threats against a local school district.
The Steuben County 911 center received a phone call around 8:05 a.m. from a number traced to Ontario County where a female made direct threats to the Bath Haverling School District.
Officers quickly located Carrie McChesney, 36, of Geneva, following an investigation into the incident.
Bath Police contacted the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, which took McChesney into custody.
McChesney was turned over to the Bath Police Department.
She was arrested on a charge of making a terroristic threat, a class D felony.
