Police seek dirt bike rider after horseback rider injured in Newtown

NEWTOWN, CT — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a juvenile dirt bike rider connected to an incident that left a horseback rider seriously injured.

The Newtown Police Department said footage from the Sept. 1 incident was recently turned over to investigators.

The juvenile was operating what appears to be a dirt bike at approximately noon in the area of Plats Hill Road, police said.
