GREENFIELD, NY — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on drunken driving charges following a property damage crash Tuesday morning.
David S. Risso, 61, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or greater, all unclassified misdemeanors.
He also was charged with moving from lane unsafely and uninspected motor vehicle, both infractions.
Deputies responded to the crash at 10:01 a.m. on North Creek Road.
Risso is accused of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and with a blood alcohol content of 0.24%.
He is also accused of failing to drive his vehicle as nearly as practicable entirely within a single lane and operating a motor vehicle on a public highway without a valid certificate of inspection.
Police said Risso made a left turn from Coy Road onto North Creek Road too widely and went off the roadway into a ditch.
No injuries were reported and no other vehicles were involved.
Risso was released on appearance tickets pending proceedings in Greenfield Town Court.
