BETHEL, VT — A 21-year-old man was arrested on a domestic assault charge early Tuesday morning.
Troopers with the Vermont State Police Royalton barracks responded to a domestic disturbance on Pleasant Street at 3:14 a.m.
Upon further investigation, it was determined McClaine Aplin, 21, of Bethel, assaulted a household member.
The victim, 21, of Bethel, was not identified in accordance with Vermont State Police policy.
Aplin was brought to the Royalton state police barracks for processing.
He was released on a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on Dec. 16 at 12:30 p.m.
