WOODSTOCK, VT — A two-vehicle crash occurred on Nov. 28 at the intersection of Woolen Mill Drive and West Woodstock Road.

The Woodstock Police Department responded to the scene at 9:14 a.m. after receiving reports of the collision.

Scott Woickelman, 56, of Bridgewater, was operating a 2017 Ram 2500 when he rear-ended a 2026 Mercedes Benz GLS-Class driven by Daniella Mammola, 47, of Beverly, Massachusetts.

Police said Mammola was turning left into a private parking lot when the collision occurred.

Road conditions were icy at the time of the crash, and weather was cloudy.

Both vehicles sustained minor damage, with scratches to the front driver side bumper of the Ram and damage to the rear passenger taillight and body of the Mercedes Benz.

No injuries were reported, and both operators remained at the scene.

Police determined Woickelman was at fault due to inattentiveness while operating a motor vehicle and following too closely.

The violation of following too close is covered under Title 23 § 1039.

No Vermont Civil Violation Complaint was issued.

Both operators were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
