HIGHGATE, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a burglary at the Highgate Irving convenience store early Sunday morning.
Troopers received an alarm notification at 2:52 a.m. for the store at 3108 Vermont Route 78.
When the keyholder arrived, the glass entrance door had been smashed.
Store surveillance footage shows two individuals arriving on a four-wheeler traveling south on Gore Road.
The suspects gained entry by breaking the main entrance glass door.
The suspects then left heading toward Decatur Street on the same four-wheeler.
Approximately 15 cartons of cigarettes were taken from the store.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the St. Albans Barracks at 802-524-5993.
