BRISTOL, CT — A man has been arrested in connection with a September robbery at a gas station.
Christopher Simms, 36, of Bristol, was taken into custody on Dec. 9 after an arrest warrant was served.
Police received a report of a robbery at the Valero Gas Station at 50 Terryville Avenue on Sept. 22.
The clerk reported that a masked suspect entered the store, demanded money and displayed a silver pocket knife.
The suspect shoved the victim to the ground before fleeing with money from the register, according to police.
Members of the Criminal Investigation Division assisted in the investigation.
Simms was developed as a suspect and an arrest warrant was prepared and authorized.
He is charged with second-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny.
