EVERETT, MA — Police are searching for a man wanted on federal and state warrants who absconded from a halfway house.
Alexander N. Yaksic, 33, of Everett, also known as David Hater, is wanted on a federal warrant and a warrant issued by Middlesex Superior Court.
Yaksic was on federal probation when he left his halfway house, according to police.
The state warrant charges Yaksic with possessing with intent to manufacture, distribute or dispense MDA, a Class C controlled substance, and amphetamine, a Class B controlled substance.
He also faces 26 charges for collecting, transporting and disposing of hazardous waste in a manner that could endanger human health.
Yaksic is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, 130 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
The Vermont Fusion Analysis Section and the U.S. Marshals Service are actively searching for Yaksic.
