FAIRFIELD, CT — Police arrested Daniel C. Suozzi, 43, of Fairfield on Nov. 20 after a month-long investigation into the reported sexual assault of a woman known to him.
According to authorities, the arrest was made on an active warrant issued by the Fairfield Police Department following a probe by detectives.
Suozzi was charged with first-degree sexual assault in violation of Connecticut General Statutes 53a-70(a)(1).
He was released on a $50,000 bond.
Court records show that Suozzi is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on Nov. 25.
