JAMESTOWN, NY — Officers from the Jamestown Police Department responded to a reported trespass at a local business at 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 20.
Upon arrival, officers located Noah D.A. Smith, 19, of Jamestown, inside the business.
Police stated that they had prior knowledge of an outstanding warrant for Smith’s arrest issued by Jamestown City Court.
Smith was taken into custody without incident.
During the investigation, officers found Smith in possession of a quantity of liquid methadone and a small amount of cocaine.
Smith was transported to Jamestown City Jail.
He was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Smith was held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
