SHELTON, CT — A man has been sentenced to 130 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to trafficking more than 400 grams of fentanyl.
Daqwon Graham, 31, of Ansonia, was convicted following an investigation by the Shelton Police Department, the DEA’s Bridgeport HIDTA Task Force, Stamford Police and partner agencies statewide.
Graham’s distribution activity was linked to two fatal overdoses, one in Branford in March 2023 and one in Shelton in October 2024.
Controlled purchases during the investigation revealed fentanyl mixed with xylazine and supported the undercover operation that led to Graham’s arrest.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office stated that Graham brought lethal quantities of fentanyl into Connecticut communities.
The sentence was announced Nov. 17.
