LOWELL, MA — A traffic stop in the Back Central neighborhood led to the arrest of a man on firearms and drug charges.
Lowell police officers seized a firearm, ammunition and narcotics during the motor vehicle stop yesterday.
A 44-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of ammunition without an FID card, carrying a firearm without a license and carrying a loaded firearm without a license.
He also faces charges of possession of Class A drug with intent to distribute and possession of Class B drug with intent to distribute.
The man also received motor vehicle charges.
