Human remains identified in Blaine

BLAINE, ME — The Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta has confirmed that human remains discovered in Blaine on Oct. 30 have been identified as those of 36-year-old Tomis Hoyt of the Presque Isle area.

The cause and manner of death are still pending further investigation.

The investigation remains active, according to Maine State Police.
