JAMESTOWN, NY — A man was arrested on a drug charge after police found him walking in a roadway late Monday night.
Larry L. Casey 3rd was observed walking west on West 3rd Street at approximately 11:54 p.m. Nov. 4, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Officers from the department’s 3rd Platoon learned Casey had an active bench warrant issued by Jamestown City Court.
Police said they found a quantity of methamphetamine inside a backpack Casey was wearing.
Casey was charged with criminal possession in the seventh degree in addition to the active warrant.
He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he was held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
