JAMESTOWN, NY — A traffic stop led to a drug arrest Tuesday afternoon in the city.
Officers conducted a traffic stop around 3:38 p.m. in the area of Falconer Street and Lakeview Avenue for observed traffic infractions.
Police identified the vehicle’s occupant as Alexander L. Digirolamo.
An investigation revealed Digirolamo was in possession of 113.4 grams of methamphetamine, according to police.
Digirolamo was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree.
Digirolamo was held at the jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
