Woman charged with DWI with children in vehicle in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — A woman was arrested on drunken driving charges after a motor vehicle accident with four children in her vehicle.

Officers from the Second Platoon of the Jamestown Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Baker Street and Chapman Street at around 3:16 p.m. on Nov. 3.

Officers spoke with the operators of the vehicles and identified the driver at fault as Christina S. Blair.

During the investigation, officers determined that Blair was driving while intoxicated with four children in her vehicle.

Blair was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

While there, Blair submitted to a chemical breath test to determine her blood alcohol content.

The test resulted in a blood alcohol content over twice the legal limit.

Blair was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, aggravated DWI with child in vehicle (Leandra’s Law), multiple other traffic violations and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Blair is being held pending arraignment.
