CARLSTADT, NJ — A Bronx man has been charged in connection with a multi-state identity theft and bank fraud investigation.
Kevin C. Iurilli, 48, of the Bronx, was charged by Carlstadt Police Detective Torres and law enforcement partners in Bergen County and Pennsylvania.
Investigators say Iurilli used fake identification and fraudulent checks to withdraw more than $10,000 from victims’ bank accounts.
One of the withdrawals occurred at a bank in Carlstadt, according to police.
Iurilli was extradited from a prison in Pennsylvania and is being held in the Bergen County Jail.
Multiple cases are moving forward, police said.
