EVERETT, MA — Two construction workers were killed when a large crane collapsed at a work site this afternoon, authorities said.
The incident occurred in the area of Rover Street, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Everett Chief of Police Paul Strong.
The preliminary investigation suggests the crane collapsed at the construction site, officials said.
The Massachusetts State Police, Everett Police Department and Office of the Chief Medical Examiner are conducting an open and active investigation into the incident.
