PENN YAN — Penn Yan Police arrested Carrie L. Schultz, 38, and Gerald H.E. Schultz, 30, both of Penn Yan following an investigation into a burglary complaint.
Police allege that on July 27, Carrie and Gerald broke into a residence in the village and stole property from inside.
Schultz then discarded some of the stolen property at another location in the village.
Gerald was charged with burglary 2nd degree, a class C felony, petit larceny and criminal trespass.
Carrie was charged with burglary 2nd and criminal possession of stolen property 4th.
Both were transported to the Yates County Jail to await centralized arraignment.
