IRONDEQUOIT — A man was arrested twice in one day by Irondequoit police, including stealing a work truck shortly after being released from his first arrest, police said.
Hicham Fathallah was first arrested at 9 a.m. on charges of petit larceny, according to the Irondequoit Police Department.
After being processed and released from the police station, Fathallah walked down the street and stole a work truck parked on Titus Avenue, police said.
Officers from Irondequoit, Rochester police and New York State Police took Fathallah into custody on Lake Avenue while he was in the stolen vehicle.
He was charged with grand larceny and unauthorized use of a vehicle in the third degree and will be arraigned in CAP Court.
He was arrested by Irondequoit police on Sept. 28 for petit larceny from Wegmans.
Irondequoit police also arrested him on Sept. 22 for another petit larceny charge.
Rochester police arrested him on Sept. 12 on criminal mischief charges.
His first arrest in the recent series occurred on Aug. 27 when Irondequoit officers charged him with petit larceny.
