LOWELL — Detectives assigned to the Lowell Police Department’s Special Investigations Section conducted an investigation in the area of Appleton Street on Sept. 21.
As a result of the investigation, detectives seized 19 grams of fentanyl, 2.1 grams of crack cocaine, a fixed-blade knife, and a strip of Suboxone from an adult male.
The adult male was arrested and charged with trafficking fentanyl over 10 grams, distribution of a Class B substance, possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute, and city ordinance violation for weapons law regarding a knife exceeding 2.5 inches.
