Police investigate theft at Manchester jewelry store

MANCHESTER — Police are investigating a theft at a jewelry store inside a mall Wednesday evening.

Officers from the Manchester Police Department responded to King Jewelers at the Buckland Hills Mall at approximately 6 p.m. on Sept. 17.

Store employees reported that three suspects were involved.

Two males entered the store while a third male acted as a lookout outside.

The suspects inside smashed several display cases and stole a large quantity of high-value jewelry.

The stolen items included chains, earrings and rings.

The total value of the merchandise is under investigation.

The suspects fled the area and are believed to have left in an unknown vehicle.

The Manchester Police Department is actively investigating.
