JAMESTOWN — Officers conducted a traffic stop in the downtown area around 11:49 p.m. Sept. 6 that led to drug charges against a Sherman resident.
Kevin L. Emory, 49, was found to be in possession of 9.8 grams of methamphetamine, drug packaging and two digital scales with drug residue on them, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Emory was taken into custody without incident by officers from the department’s Third Platoon.
He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he was held pending arraignment.
Emory was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd and two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd.
