TYNGSBOROUGH — The Tyngsborough Police Department is searching for a missing 24-year-old man in the area of Wilson’s Quarry, and numerous law enforcement partners are assisting the search.

On Tuesday, Sept. 2, at approximately 11:25 p.m., the Tyngsborough Police Department was notified that 24-year-old Henry Stanaford had not showed up at a location where he was expected earlier in the day.

Tyngsborough Police were unable to contact Stanaford at his last known location in the area of Wilson Way, where they found his vehicle.

A short distance away from the vehicle, near the area of Wilson’s Quarry, police found Stanaford’s cellphone and several personal items.

Tyngsborough Police were assisted in their search early Wednesday morning by a Chelmsford Police K-9 and the Massachusetts State Police Air Wing.

The Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council Regional Response Team has also now joined the search.

Residents can expect to see a large police presence in the area.

Police are asking anyone with information on Stanaford’s whereabouts to call 978-649-7504 or to email Detective Sgt. Dennis Leach at [email protected].
