BATAVIA — Batavia police announced multiple recent arrests in separate incidents, including charges of trespass, harassment and drug possession.
On Aug. 27, officers arrested Nathan T. Stanton, 21, of LeRoy, for trespass and obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.
Stanton allegedly refused to leave United Memorial Medical Center after being discharged and is accused of obstructing police when they attempted to take him into custody.
He was issued an appearance ticket and released.
On Aug. 26, Gloria L. Peckham, 65, of Batavia, was arrested for harassment in the second degree.
Peckham was charged after allegedly spitting on another person during an altercation.
She was issued an appearance ticket and released.
On Aug. 23, Stephen C. Lopez, 41, of Medina, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree with intent to sell.
Police responded to a harassment complaint on South Main Street, where Lopez was the suspect.
While police were speaking with the caller, Lopez arrived at the scene in a vehicle.
Following an investigation, Lopez was allegedly found to be intoxicated and in possession of a large quantity of narcotics.
He was taken to the Genesee County Jail and arraigned in CAP Court.
On Aug. 16, police arrested Tierance J. Davis, 38, of Batavia, on charges of criminal obstruction of breathing, endangering the welfare of a child and obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.
Officers responded to a domestic incident on Bank Street and found Davis allegedly holding a victim in a chokehold.
Police say Davis struggled with officers as they attempted to separate him from the victim.
Davis was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.
On Aug. 19, Lisa R. Richmond, 37, of Batavia, was arrested on three arrest warrants issued after failing to appear in court on three separate criminal matters.
She was taken to the Genesee County Jail and arraigned in CAP Court.
On Aug. 13, Andrew J. Draper, 46, of Batavia, was arrested on two bench warrants for failing to appear in court on larceny and DWI charges.
He was arraigned in Batavia City Court.
