MALDEN — Malden Police officers conducted a motor vehicle stop yesterday evening that led to the arrest of two Malden residents.
The individuals were identified as Kenna Smith and John Bills.
Officers said the two were known from prior reports of drug activity in the area of 59 Green Street.
Smith and Bills were taken into custody for civil motor vehicle infractions and drug-related offenses.
During the stop, officers seized approximately 10 grams total of what is believed to be crack cocaine.
Each person was found to be in possession of a portion of the drugs, police said.
Ofc. Cameron Selfridge was the primary investigating officer, assisted by Ofc. Ferry and Ofc. Wade.
