SOUTH WINDSOR — Police arrested Rikki C. Slappy, 30, of Enfield on Thursday at 9:15 p.m. on an active arrest warrant.
Slappy faces charges of sale of a narcotic substance, possession of a controlled substance, risk of injury to a child and possession of a stolen firearm.
The charges stem from a July narcotics investigation by the East Central Narcotics Task Force at Kenco Spirits at 17 Main Street in South Windsor.
The investigation resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of narcotics, cash and a firearm.
During the investigation, police established a connection between the illegal activity at Kenco and Slappy’s Enfield residence.
Police executed a search warrant at the Enfield residence and found cash, cocaine, MDMA, oxycodone and a handgun.
All items were found in close proximity to where a child was staying, according to police.
The Enfield Police Department took Slappy into custody and turned her over to South Windsor police.
She was processed and held on a $275,000 surety bond.
Slappy is scheduled to appear at Hartford Superior Court Friday at 9 a.m.
