St. Johnsbury woman arrested on warrant during traffic stop

ST. JOHNSBURY — A 47-year-old St. Johnsbury woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant Thursday afternoon during a traffic stop.

Christina Thompson was taken into custody at approximately 3:44 p.m. Aug. 28 after Vermont State Police troopers witnessed her vehicle commit a traffic violation during a routine patrol.

Investigation revealed Thompson had an in-state warrant for failure to appear.

Thompson was transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.

She was then taken to the Northeast Correctional Complex for lack of $200 bail.

Thompson was issued a citation to appear at Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Aug. 29 at 12:30 p.m.
