BRISTOL — Vermont State Police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Route 116 near Little Brook Lane at approximately 9 a.m. Thursday.
Thomas Murphy, 47, of Bristol was driving a 2016 International SF637 north on Route 116 when he turned left into a driveway in front of oncoming traffic.
Joann Demarais, 69, of Bristol was traveling south on Route 116 in a 2017 Chevrolet Sonic when the collision occurred.
The crash happened as Murphy’s vehicle was making the turn, according to state police.
Murphy’s vehicle sustained damage to the right rear bumper.
Demarais’ vehicle suffered front-end damage and was totaled.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts and no injuries were reported.
Bristol Fire Department, EMS and Police Department assisted at the scene.
The crash occurred under clear weather conditions on dry roads.
Troopers from the New Haven Barracks investigated the incident.
