MANCHESTER — Police arrested a Rutland man Tuesday in connection with a string of vehicle thefts after executing a search warrant at a local hotel.
Jacob Alberico, 32, was taken into custody at approximately 7:40 p.m. at the Palmer House, located at 5383 Main Street.
Manchester Police Department conducted the search of Room 15 with assistance from the Winhall Police Department.
Officers seized items identified as stolen during the search, according to police.
Alberico was staying in the hotel room with his girlfriend as part of the Hotel Voucher Program.
He faces charges of grand larceny, petit larceny, unlawful trespass of a motor vehicle and possession of stolen property.
Alberico is being held at the Marble Valley Regional Correction Facility on $10,000 bail awaiting arraignment.
