St. Albans man arrested on federal drug conspiracy charges

ST. ALBANS — A 36-year-old St. Albans man was arrested on federal charges Thursday for conspiracy to distribute cocaine base narcotics.

Jonathan J. Letourneau was taken into custody following a multi-month narcotics investigation led by the St. Albans Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit.

Letourneau was already in custody pending several criminal charges stemming from incidents in Franklin and Orleans counties.

Police said no additional information will be released at this time.
