BATH — The Village of Bath Police Department arrested Andrew Mckinney, 44, of Fort Pierce, Florida, on Aug. 11 following an assault at the Steuben County Fairgrounds.
Police patrols responded to a call regarding an assault at the fairgrounds.
During a physical altercation with the victim, Mckinney struck the victim in the face, causing physical injury.
Officers spoke with all witnesses and assessed injuries to both parties before placing Mckinney in custody.
Mckinney was charged with third-degree assault, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was transported to the Bath Police Department for processing.
After processing was completed, Mckinney was released on an appearance ticket to return at a later date.
