Bath woman arrested on assault charge after cane attack at inn

BATH — The Village of Bath Police Department arrested Nikki Wright, 53, of Bath, on Aug. 6.

On May 20, patrols were called to the Finger Lakes Inn and Suites for an assault.

Wright was accused of striking the victim with her cane causing physical injury.

After an investigation of the incident, an arrest warrant was issued for Wright.

On Aug. 6, Wright was located in the passenger seat of a vehicle during a traffic stop and was placed in custody.

Wright was charged with assault in the second degree, a Class D felony.

Wright was then transported to the Bath Police Department for processing.

Once processing was complete, she was taken to the Steuben County Jail where she was held without bail.
