GUILDERLAND — State Police arrested a Maine man on weapon charges following a traffic stop on Western Turnpike on Aug. 10.
Zachary R. Brislin, 22, of Buxton, Maine, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and a vehicle and traffic law violation.
Troopers stopped Brislin’s vehicle at approximately 2:09 p.m. for a vehicle and traffic law violation.
During the investigation, an illegally possessed loaded handgun was discovered in the vehicle and seized.
Brislin was transported to State Police Guilderland for processing.
He was arraigned at Guilderland Town Court and remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash, $37,500 bond, or $50,000 partially secured bond.
