ST. JOHNSBURY — Two people have been charged with domestic assault in connection with injuries to a 3-month-old infant, Vermont State Police said.
Justin Lamotte, 24, of St. Johnsbury, and Jazmyn Walker, 22, of St. Johnsbury, were cited to appear in Caledonia County Court on Sept. 15 to answer the charges.
State police and the Department for Children and Families began investigating the infant’s injuries in May.
The infant was examined by staff at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
The injuries included multiple fractures and bruises, police said.
Police did not release additional information about the case.
