Structure fire draws mutual aid response in Day

DAY — The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company responded to provide mutual aid for a structure fire on North Shore Road Tuesday at 5:42 a.m.

Saratoga County Fire Dispatch requested the mutual aid response for what the Edinburg Volunteer Fire Company relayed as a “confirmed working structure fire.”

The Northville Fire Department was dispatched to send two engine tank apparatus to the scene.

Broadalbin-Kennyetto was asked to send one engine tank apparatus.

A Broadalbin-Kennyetto incident commander requested Perth to automatically respond to all Broadalbin-Kennyetto calls through Fulton County Fire Dispatch.

Northville was re-dispatched for additional manpower to the scene.

Broadalbin-Kennyetto was initially asked to set up a water source at the boat launch in Day.

The company was then re-routed to the Edinburg station to be on standby for Edinburg, Providence and Northville.
