PENN YAN — Police arrested Adam M. Mahan, 32, of Canandaigua on an arrest warrant for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.
Mahan is accused of possessing cocaine in an incident that occurred in March.
Mahan was taken into custody at the Ontario County Jail where he was being held on unrelated charges and transported to Penn Yan Village Court where he was arraigned on the current charges.
Mahan was released on the charges and transported back to the Ontario County Jail.
