Jamestown man arrested after fight injures woman, involves minor

JAMESTOWN — Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Third Platoon responded to a reported fight at a north side address at about 11:51 p.m. on Aug. 8.
Police said an investigation determined that David L. Lewis Jr., 41, of Jamestown, was involved in a physical altercation with two female victims at the scene, including a minor.
According to police, Lewis broke the adult victim’s glasses and caused physical injury to her during the incident.
Lewis was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
He faces charges of third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, endangering the welfare of a child, and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Lewis will be held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
