SALEM — Patrol officers responded to 64 Grove Street at 12:11 p.m. on Aug. 8 for a report of a fall from a rooftop.
The Salem Fire Department and Atlantic Ambulance also responded to the scene.
Authorities found a deceased 34-year-old male who had fallen while performing construction work.
Detectives from the Salem Police Department Criminal Investigation Division, state troopers assigned to the Office of District Attorney Paul Tucker, and OSHA staff also responded to investigate.
The agencies are actively investigating the circumstances of the death.
No further details were released.
