Greece police arrest 8 in drug trafficking, trespassing investigation

GREECE — Eight people were arrested Aug. 5 following a months-long investigation into suspected drug trafficking and prostitution at a Ridgecrest Drive residence.

The Greece Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division found that Shariek Rutledge unlawfully took control of the residence after being invited in by a relative of the homeowner.

Rutledge changed the locks, forced the homeowner out, and invited numerous individuals to occupy the property, police said.

The Greece Police SWAT Team executed a search warrant at the residence, leading to the arrests.

Investigators recovered cocaine, fentanyl, and crack cocaine during the search.

One additional person was turned over to another agency on an unrelated warrant.

Roosevelt C. Speed, 46, of Rochester, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance third degree with intent to sell, criminal use of drug paraphernalia second degree, and criminal trespass second degree.

Shariek Rutledge, 45, of Rochester, was charged with grand larceny second degree for unlawful taking of the residence and criminal trespass second degree.

Brittany Hollaert, 28, of Rochester, was charged with criminal trespass second degree.

Dunia Amireh, 35, of Rochester, was charged with criminal trespass second degree.

Shaqera Lee, 32, of 922 Affinity Lane, was charged with criminal trespass second degree.

Yanira Lopez, 24, of 70 Dayton Street, Apt. 2, was charged with criminal trespass second degree.

Brandon Smith, 41, of 26 Karnes Street, was charged with criminal trespass second degree.

Mary Mickolichik, 60, of 39 Laura Drive, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance seventh degree.

Speed and Rutledge were remanded to CAP Court.

Hollaert, Amireh, Lee, Lopez and Smith were also remanded to CAP Court.

Mickolichik was released on an appearance ticket.
