BRISTOL — A 43-year-old Lincoln man was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence after state police observed multiple traffic violations.
Sanderson Wheeler was stopped by Vermont State Police troopers from the New Haven Barracks at 12:05 a.m. on Lincoln Road.
Police detected signs of impairment while speaking with Wheeler during the traffic stop.
Wheeler was arrested and transported to the New Haven Barracks for processing.
This marks Wheeler’s second DUI offense, according to police records.
Wheeler was released on a citation and is scheduled to appear in Addison County Superior Court.
